David met Leslie Gilliat when Leslie was the honoured guest speaker at the Winchester Writers" Festival in 2006.
As a life long fan of Leslie's work, in particular The Green Man and of course, the St. Trinian's Films, David was thrilled that Leslie was kind enough to agree to an interview. Turning his hand to producing documentaries, David's documentary credits include Theatre Royal Brighton Audio Tour and, spurred on by the positive experience of working with Leslie Gilliat, David is currently busy planning his next audio documentary project and his work can soon be heard in the peopletalk audio book The Mistress & Her Maid.
