Our Sound-Seeing-Tour.

This is like an audio snapshot. Audio has an amazing ability for allowing you to create an image in your mind of what you are hearing. This is the theater part, but it's participatory theater. It's not as passive as watching TV.

The imagery of the scene is built by your imagination, which constructs what it thinks you would see to match what you hear. It demands a lot more of your participation than video, and because of that, the end result is somehow satisfying in a very different way.

We will be bringing you sound-seeing-tour of places in the south of England like, the
Royal Indian Pavillion on the South coast.

This breathtaking sea-side residence was built for King George IV, and was also used by his brother William IV and their niece Queen Victoria. The neo-classical villa was created in 1787 by architect Henry Holland on the site of a farmhouse. Then, between 1815 and 1822 it was transformed into its current Indian style by John Nash. This beautiful Regency Palace is totally stunning throughout and is a must visit when visiting Brighton.

What is Podcasting?

This is a term that derives its name from the iPod™ manufactured by Apple Incorporated. The iPod is an electronic gizmo that allows downloading files in .mp3 or AAC (Apple iTunes™ format). To date, the primary file download use has been for music and talk radio for the iPod to be used as a mobile music player.

The iPod is manufactured in various hard disk capacities that predict the download of other, larger-sized files, such as video, in the future. The name "podcast" is no longer specifically related to the iPod but to any software and hardware combination that permits the downloading and playing of files in user defined timeframes. The concept of podcast is a new technology application of an electronic broadcast concept.

Aggregators (receiver), a free software Apple Mac & Windows, such as iTunes 4.9 & ipodder, allow users to subscribe to audio feeds from sources as diverse as the BBC, Sci-Fi Today, peopletalk and thousands of bloggers across the world. The services work by automatically checking an Internet address at a regular interval, usually once an hour, to see if new content has been added.

The feeds are written according to one of a few competing shared specifications, which are collectively referred to as RSS, which stands, depending on who you talk to, for really simple syndication or rich site summary.

It's a real treat. it's like the old radio shows i've heard about from the golden age of radio- a bit of chat, anecdotal humour, family (vobes' smart, irreverent kids are an ever-present part of the show) and shtick- wrapped in a devil-may-care/seat of the pants style that is disarmingly charming. he also includes whatever pop 80's and mod-era 60's music strikes his fancy to include. by the way, his reviews of the current state of movie remakes, and book/tv to movie adaptations ( war of the worlds, thunderbirds, etc...)are "spot-on" & "brilliant".'  Gregory Giordano - March 2005 - flameape.com
