Our Listeners e-mails page

Hello www.peopletalk.org,

I am new to the Pod Casting genre but I am very quickly getting addicted to pod casts in general but more specifically yours.  I just listened to your cast on Tattooing yesterday and it was really good, very informative.  Although its not my thing, I don’t have any tattoos myself, I have friends in the industry and they are exactly as you have portrayed them.  Friendly, wonderful and artistic people.

Its nice to hear from every day people sharing extraordinary stories, which seems to be what your site offers.

You are very talented at this, and after listening to some of those pod casts out there I can say how talented.  Anyway just wanted to drop you a line telling you good job and keep that content up as its nice to fill my i-Pod with the stories you are gathering.

Hi Nigel.
I'm Jimmy from the Richard Vobes Radio Show (podcast) I just wanted to say hi and make ourselves known to you.

I have listened to a couple of your casts and they are most enjoyable and as someone said, quite relaxing in style and listening.

I am making an assumption that you are based in or around Brighton, we ourselves are in Worthing, just down the road.

Like yourself we do Sound Seeing Tours and interviews around Sussex but in a different style and as part of a magazine/radio 4 model except on Fridays where it all goes pear-shaped with the Friday beer Show.

It is great to find someone like yourself who enjoys what they do and bring entertainment to others. keep up the good work.

Hi I just wanted to say how impressed I am with your site – the stories are very interesting and very varied. I particularly liked the  item by Terry Buzby describing in an amusing way about his life in the Marines. The walk round the garden of Rudyard Kipling’s house in Rottingdene, was also very enjoyable and had quite a calming effect on me after a busy day, I could almost imagine that I was there and will certainly make an effort to go and see for myself if I am ever down that way.

I have to say that I have enjoyed them all and eagerly await any new items.

I think your presentation and interviewing style is very relaxed and natural – keep up the good work!

Hi Nigel,

Many thanks for including the Brighton Toy and Model Museum article and sound tour on your fantastic site.  Everyone at the Museum is delighted and I've just added your site to our new Links page for our visitors to enjoy.

I had fun listening to a couple of interviews on your site and am looking forward to exploring the site further.  I'm impressed by the broad mix of people and subjects you've investigated and found it interesting and unpredictable.  This must be such an exciting way to work...  I've been involved with the My Brighton and Hove project (http://www.mybrightonandhove.org.uk/), which features personal stories and (mostly geographical) tours too, but our contributions are text and photo based. Sound adds so much!!!

Anyway, thanks again and keep up the great work,

Jenny Ridland
